| a mother bathing her child | |
| Norns-blessed youth | laughing, splashing |
| skin refreshed and gleaming | |
| The evening meal | long hours past |
| I rest from day's labor | |
| Yet Sunna lingers | cloud-defiant |
| blue tints behind the black | |
| Thor rumbles | but cannot halt |
| midsummer's steady advance | |
| Long, happy days | solstice once more |
| a joy to all good folk | |
